The Greene County Community Foundation is working to offer the best possible service. That means providing information needed to learn more about Greene Giving's significant options and programs.
The role of community foundations in the United States is expanding rapidly, each with the potential to galvanize the communities, and identify systemic projects for change and growth.
Among considerations in many communities or counties are three primary areas for consideration: economic vitality, public health and safety, and education. When community foundations provide a process and a product to intervene in these three vital areas, change happens.
In our personal lives we are responsible to make ourselves of the greatest possible usefulness and to invest heavily in the well-being of others. Anything else appears to be self-service, a contradictory pattern of life within a philanthropic society.
